of buds exploding 

green lacy clouds 

make light of the air

whispering 

life

every opening 

each new leaf 

a prayer

infusing cells

green, green, not black oil, 

not crude, delicacy

feather touch, not bombs

not toxic smoke, air, fresh air

sparklers 

of petals bursting 

pink, fuscia, white

make light of the air

sashaying hips

breath breath, not ego

not binary hate, thoughtfulness

collaboration, not profit,
